As data becomes a major part of business, so is the need to find data-literate workers.
The Milwaukee Tech Hub Coalition and the Higher Education Regional Alliance have partnered to create a free pre-internship program aimed at teaching students how data and artificial intelligence can impact their jobs even if they’re not studying computer science.
Fahad Bijle, director for enterprise analytics and data strategy for Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin, said students need to understand how data can influence their jobs even if they aren’t working in technology.
