The Wisconsin Technology Council is pleased to announce that Kristine Andrews, who recently retired as associate vice president for federal relations at the University of Wisconsin System, will be available on a limited basis for consulting with Tech Council corporate members on federal issues of interest.

Andrews, who was also chief of staff for two former Wisconsin members of Congress during her career, will be available as a point of contact and resource to Tech Council corporate members to provide advice, education and communications services.

Andrews can provide up to three hours of service to Tech Council corporate members who need help:

  • Managing their interactions with the federal government
  • Navigating the federal landscape with federal agencies and Congress
  • Monitoring federal funding and other opportunities

Services would be offered on a scheduled, one-on-one, time-available basis. For more extensive consultation, corporate members of the Tech Council may be referred to other fee-for-services firms, consultants and organizations affiliated with the Tech Council.

“With her experience in working with federal agencies and members of Congress, Kris is an excellent ‘port of entry’ for Tech Council corporate members looking for initial guidance,” said Tom Still, president of the Tech Council. “For entrepreneurs and many companies, it’s all about knowing where to start when working with the federal government.”

This new member-benefit service for corporate Tech Council members comes at a time when there are emerging funding sources at the federal level due to White House, executive agency and congressional actions. Kris can be reached directly at kris@wisconsintechnologycouncil.com.
