Bruce Maas, the chief information officer for the UW-Madison, has been named to the board of directors for EDUCAUSE, the association for information technology in higher education. He has also been appointed to the Internet2 External Relations Advisory Committee.

Maas, who is also vice provost for information technology at the UW–Madison, will join two other new members of the EDUCAUSE board. Joy Hatch, vice chancellor for information technology services at the Virginia Community College System, and Justin Sipher, vice president for libraries and information technology at St. Lawrence University, were also elected by the association’s membership.
