UW System, in collaboration with WiSys, administers the Ignite Grant Program–Applied Research for UW System faculty and academic staff. Ignite Grant funding for applied research encourages faculty and staff to utilize their expertise and apply their scholarship to support economic development in Wisconsin. Ignite funding for applied research is offered as a fourteen (14) month program for all disciplines at all institutions including UW–Madison. Applicants must file an intent to submit by November 29 to be eligible to submit a full proposal (due January 24) for 2022-23.
