The artificial intelligence (AI) bot ChatGPT has taken the technology world by storm in recent months, demonstrating the ability of a computer to generate written materials like stories, essays and computer code in a convincingly human-like way.
But for businesses looking to leverage the tech, there are questions about ownership of the AI-generated content, Milwaukee intellectual property attorney Joseph Miotke of DeWitt LLP said. ChatGPT was developed by the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence research firm OpenAI.
