Milwaukee venture capital firm Gateway Capital Partners and the local digital medication storage cabinet company CareDirect are among the tenants in the Eagleknit innovation hub, according to a recent announcement.

Wangard Partners Inc. redeveloped the former Eagle Knitting Mills building at 507 S. Second St. in Walker’s Point and opened the Eagleknit hub earlier this year.

The innovation hub within the Eagleknit building is known as Converge and occupies the first and second floors. Now around 75% leased, it features smaller workspaces, a tenant lounge and an event space designed for community events in the startup, venture capital and innovation ecosystem, Wangard’s Burton Metz told Wisconsin Inno.
