Of the 172 companies that appear on the Inc. Regionals: Midwest ranking of fastest-growing private companies, the top two hail from Wisconsin — and No. 1 is a runaway winner.

The Inc. Regionals listing is an extension of the media company’s annual Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies. For 2024, the top company is Carbliss in Plymouth, a maker of vodka-, tequila- and rum-based canned cocktails that have zero carbs and sugar. Its products are available at bars and grocery stores.

Carbliss was founded in 2018 by husband-and-wife team Adam and Amanda Kroener when they were on a keto diet. The firm was the runner-up in the 2022 Wisconsin Inno Madness competition. According to Inc., its two-year growth rate since then has been 7,127%.

That growth far outpaces the second-ranked company on the list, Vyper Industrial in Green Bay. Vyper, with a two-year growth rate of 2,613%, is a “family-owned company specializing in American-made shop chairs that prevent back and knee pain,” according to Inc.
