The University of Wisconsin–Madison recently celebrated the official groundbreaking of a new building for the School of Computer, Data & Information Sciences (CDIS). It’s expected to be completed in 2025.

The seven-story building at 1240 W. Johnson St. will span 350,000 square feet and will house the university’s newest school. CDIS was founded in 2019 and includes UW-Madison’s largest major (computer science), its fastest-growing major (data science) and its newest major (information science).
