The Wisconsin Hospital Association held a briefing on their 2024 workforce report which found that the health care workforce vacancy rates that skyrocketed between 2021 and 2022 are stabilizing, but still critical, in 2023. Eric Borgerding, WHA President and CEO, and Ann Zenk, WHA Senior VP of Workforce and Clinical Practice, addressed the workforce demand and reimbursement rates.
