Most trips to Discovery World for Milwaukee-area students are of the one-day, field trip variety. A new program in partnership with Johnson Controls Inc. is engaging students in hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education over the course of several repeat visits.

The eight-to-nine week pilot program began Jan. 17, when eight different Milwaukee-area schools, with 582 students ranging from third through 11th grade, came to Discovery World for classes on robotics, circuitry, anatomy and freshwater science. Read the full story here.
