Wisconsin
businesses that want to learn more about exporting to the Middle East and
establishing contacts there have until Friday, Dec. 20, to apply for a
Global Trade Venture to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar in January.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. is
hosting the trip from Jan. 24 to Jan. 31, 2014, to introduce state businesses
to potential Middle East customers. The program is ideal for state businesses that
specialize in health care, aviation, transportation and energy, but is open to
all industries.

The weeklong trip will include customized
one-on-one meetings with companies in the two countries, market channel
analysis, business culture briefing, networking opportunities, and access to
Arab Health 2014 trade show, the largest health care exhibition in the Middle
East and Asia.

In order to give each participating company a
custom experience, only eight businesses will be selected for the Global Trade
Venture. The cost is $1,850 per person, which includes hotel, ground
transportation, one-on-one meetings and attendance at Arab Health 2014.
Overseas airfare is not included.

Reservations can be made online at inwisconsin.com/exporting/programs/middle-east-trade-venture.
