WisPolitics Luncheon with UW President Rothman

Join WisPolitics.com for lunch at The Madison Club, 5 East Wilson St., Madison, on Thursday, June 22 for a discussion with Jay Rothman, President of the University of Wisconsin System to discuss the UW budget, tuition increases, the status of two-year campuses, research and more.
With 13 universities across 26 campuses and a statewide extension network, the UW System is home to world-class education, research, and outreach, serving approximately 165,000 students and awarding nearly 37,000 degrees each year. President Rothman leads a statewide workforce of some 40,000 faculty, academic and university staff, and graduate assistants. He is also responsible for the UW System’s $6 billion annual budget, made up of state support, federal funding, tuition and fees, and private gifts. He reports to the UW System Board of Regents.
Check-in and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m., the program will start at noon and last approximately 1 hour. Price for the general public is $28 per person. Price includes buffet lunch.
