2024 Entrepreneurs’ Conference – It’s a Wrap!

The 2024 Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference was held June 5-6 at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee. Hundreds of people attended the annual conference with conference co-chairs Jessica Silvaggi of the UWM Research Foundation and Kalpa Vithalani of Marquette University. The June 6 keynote speaker was Maneesh Arora, founder and chief executive officer of Elephas, who spoke about his entrepreneurial journey.

The 2024 Ken Hendricks Memorial “Seize the Day” Award was delivered June 6 to Dr. Valerie Daniels-Carter, who leads V&J Holding Co. and is a noted franchise executive. Sam Rikkers, chief operating officer of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., spoke at the outset of the ‘Diligent (Baker’s) Dozen’ pitches on June 5.

Six insightful panel discussions June 6 highlighted important entrepreneurial topics, with many successful entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts lending their wisdom.

Congratulations to the team at CranioSure for the young company’s grand prize win in the 2024 Governor’s Business Plan Contest. Rockhopper Ice Collective won the “2024 Bright New Idea” award. Hats off to all of the ‘Diligent (Baker’s) Dozen’ competitors who presented for their companies!
