2025 Entrepreneurs’ Conference – It’s a Wrap!

The 2025 Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference was held June 4-5 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison. Hundreds of people attended the 22^nd annual conference.

Thirteen companies pitched on June 4 during the ‘Diligent (Baker’s) Dozen’ and a reception, sponsored by WIPFLi, followed on the rooftop of the Monona Terrace.

June 5 opened with a keynote speech from Kevin Conroy, chairman and chief executive officer of Exact Sciences, who spoke about his entrepreneurial journey. Following that, we heard quick pitches from 27 founders and six sessions of organized networking.

Over lunch, Scott Becker, author of “The Entrepreneur’s Edge” gave ticks and tricks to the attendees. After, a plenary panel featuring Max Duckworth of Abingdon Health USA; Jenni Le of Venture Investors; and Dennis Winters of the Wisconsin Dept. of Workforce Development, discussed how NIH cuts will affect all aspects of the economy.

Congratulations Phoenix-Aid for the young company’s grand prize win in the 2025 Governor’s Business Plan Contest. Sea Change Silicides won the “2025 Bright New Idea” award. Hats off to all the ‘Diligent (Baker’s) Dozen’ competitors who presented for their companies!
