Erik Iverson, president of business and operations for the Infectious Disease Research Institute in Seattle, has been hired to head the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.

Iverson will succeed Carl E. Gulbrandsen, who since 2000 has been managing director of WARF, the licensing and patenting organization for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He will start July 1, following Gulbrandsen’s retirement on June 30. Read the full Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story here.
