Northwestern Mutual CEO John Schlifske says his company is seeking “ways to partner” with Foxconn Technology Group including moving employees from the company’s venture capital unit into the downtown Milwaukee office building Foxconn is buying from Northwestern Mutual.

Details were not immediately available on the partnership beyond Schlifske’s statement at a Tuesday event celebrating Foxconn opening an office in downtown Milwaukee. Wisconsin Ave. that NM will sell to Foxconn.

“We look forward to exploring opportunities with Foxconn,” Northwestern Mutual spokeswoman Betsy Hoylman said in response to a Milwaukee Business Journal request for more information. “It’s too early in our conversations to discuss specifics.” Read the full story here.
