Women in Technology Wisconsin has recognized several companies and organizations for their impact and involvement in women-focused initiatives for 2017 and 2018.

The nonprofit WIT was founded in 2014, and now has worked with 11,000 students in 16 counties in northeastern Wisconsin.

Groups are being recognized for taking part in STEM education efforts like WIT4Girls and Girls Who Code, as well as programs for college students and professionals.

WIT also recently announced new members on its board of directors for 2018 and 2019.
